Procedures

How long does bruising/swelling last?

Bruising and swelling depends on skin type and area of injection, but normally bruising and swelling can last anywhere from 3-7 days.

What can I do to reduce bruising?

There are a few things you can do to reduce bruising - we suggest you don't take any blood thinners (ibuprofen and aspirin) for 10 days prior to your appointment. Alcohol and caffeine are also blood thinners, so if you are worried about bruising try to refrain from consuming either of those for three days prior to your treatment. There are also some natural remedies shown to assist in reducing bruises: arnica and bromelain.

What kind of filler will I need to get?

What type of filler you need depends on where you would like to inject and the desired effect. You will be able to discuss a customized plan with your provider at the time of your consultation.

How many units/syringes/vials will I need?

The amount of product needed varies from person to person depending on each individuals' facial anatomy, muscle strength, etc. You will be able to discuss this at length with your provider at the time of your consultation.

What’s the difference between Botox and Dysport?

Both Botox and Dysport help to relax unwanted muscle movement, like brow furrows, forehead lines and crows feet. The duration of the products is similar in most patients, but some people have different experiences with each. Your provider will chose according to your desired results and current muscle movement.

How long does it take for Wrinkle Relaxers to kick in?

Most people see initial results within 7-10 days. We recommend waiting at least 2 weeks before booking a touch up, if needed.

How do different treatments interact with each other (ie laser and injectable at the same time)?

You can often book lasers and injectables on the same day with a few exceptions. When booking your appointment please let your Client Coordinator know so that they can book accordingly.

How long do the injections last?

Wrinkle Relaxers generally last up to three to four months, whereas fillers can last anywhere from six months to 18 months. However, this varies from person to person and depends on the area that is injected.

Can I receive a treatment if I am pregnant?

There are some treatments such as Clear +Brilliant, Facile Laser, microneedling, and PRP that can be performed during pregnancy without numbing cream.

Can I receive a treatment if I am breastfeeding?

Similar to pregnant patients, we do not suggest scheduling any treatments or procedures while breastfeeding without consulting your OBGYN first.

What is the difference between Microinfusion and Microneedling?

Microinfusion is the process of stamping a combination of product such as fillers, wrinkle relaxers, skin brighteners and/or vitamins into your skin improving your overall skin quality. Your provider will customize the combination of injectables based on your skin's needs.

Microneedling is a procedure in which we create microinjuries in the skin to boost collagen production, assist cell turnover and allow good-for-you products to penetrate deeper into your skin. This helps to boost collagen production and can reduce acne scars and wrinkles!

Can I combine laser treatments?

Definitely! You can use a laser alone or in combination with our other treatments, like peels, to improve skin discoloration, texture and to rejuvenate face, neck, and chest.

What is a typical social downtime after a procedure?

We have treatments with no social downtime (perfect to do before a special event). We also have more can result in anywhere from 3-5 days of social downtime. For more information on each individual treatment, please see our “what to expects”.

How long does an appointment take?

As a general rule of thumb, we say to plan on 1 hour; however, this all depends on what treatment you are doing and if you are a first-timer or a facile regular. We will always do our best if you need to be our of your appointment at a certain time. Just let us know at the beginning of your appointment :)

What if I have acne or sudden breakouts?

We're here to help! There are many different options to treat acne, such as peels, prescriptions, extractions, and customized treatment plans. We also offer cryofacials, light therapy, and lasers to heal and prevent breakouts. Cortisone shots are also a great quick fix!

What is the cancellation policy?

We collect your credit card information when you schedule an appointment. If you do not show up or cancel within 48 hours of your appointment we will charge a one-time fee of $125.

Where can I park?

West Hollywood
We can suggest a few places to park. There are metered spots along Robertson, Santa Monica, Melrose, and San Vicente. There is also a parking structure for the West Hollywood Library on San Vicente (between Melrose and Santa Monica).

Pasadena
There is a parking structure located at 140 Shoppers Ln. and it is right behind Facile!

Can I bring a friend?

Of course! All of our rooms have one extra seat.

Consultation Policy

Facile first timers will have one-on-one time to discuss skin gripes and goals before receiving a results-driven, personalized plan to make achieving good skin easy. Consultations are $125 ($300 with Dr. Sam!). The fee is waived if treatment is received same day. If a future appointment is needed, the $125 fee will be applied toward future treatment cost.

Cancellation Policy

We ask that you provide us with a 48-hour notice in the event you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Individuals who do not notify 48 hours prior to their appointment will be charges a $125 cancellation/no show fee.

Return Policy

All of our treatments and packages are final sale. Products returned within 14 days are eligible for exchange or store credit only.
