If you are planning to receive treatment the same day as your one-on-one consultation, that’s great! Here’s what you need to know:
before
As with any medical grade treatment, bruising can happen. Here are some hints and tips to avoid potential bruising:
*If you still get a bruise, don’t fret; we have a laser that helps them heal faster. You can come in the next day for a complimentary treatment :)Drink lots of water a few days prior to your appointment.
Take arnica tablets two days before and after treatment; you can find these at most health food stores.
Avoid alcohol a day or two before your treatment... sorry!
It’s best to avoid Aspirin, Ibuprofen, fish oil, and Vitamin E for 10-14 days prior to treatment.
checking in
We know first hand that L.A. traffic is a drag, so we appreciate it when you arrive on time! When you enter the boutique, one of our client coordinators will direct you to our self check-in kiosk. We’ll ask you to answer just a few questions before we bring you into one of our private rooms.
during
Your comfort during your appointment is our number one priority! Want some entertainment? We have iPads, so you can Netflix and “chill” or listen to music of your choice with Pandora. Thirsty? Don’t worry; we have refreshments! Just ask if someone hasn’t already offered. Cold? We have blankets. Just let us know what you need, and your wish is our command!
after
After your appointment, we’ll give you a ring to check in and see how you’re doing. You can always call or email us too!
If you received an injectable treatment, we’ll send you home with some ice. Keep the ice on the area of treatment directly after, and continue icing throughout the next few hours in intervals of 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off. This will help with any potential swelling.
If you received a laser or microneedling treatment, use the skin care goodies we recommend for the next few days as directed by your FACILE provider.
